Grand American Barbecue World Championship

Corey's Sugar Shack is a proud sponsor of the Grand American Barbecue World Championship (the “Grand Am”), a 3-day outdoor BBQ festival featuring great BBQ, live music, beer, cooking demonstrations, vendors and a world championship BBQ contest! The event takes place at Ulster County Fairgrounds in New Paltz NY, the former home of the Hudson Valley Ribfest for 15 years. More than 5,000 attendees and 80 competitive BBQ teams from across the globe are expected.
Homemade Maple Syrup Contest

Join us for our second annual maple syrup making contest held during the Ulster County Fair in August!
Entry into the contest requires a submission of two (2) glass bottles (8 ounces) to compete for taste, clarity, and brix. Contest is judged by Bryan Boyes, son & owner of 5th-generation maple producer, Justus Asthalther Maple Syrup.
