Grand American Barbecue World Championship

Corey's Sugar Shack is a proud sponsor of the Grand American Barbecue World Championship (the “Grand Am”), a 3-day outdoor BBQ festival featuring great BBQ, live music, beer, cooking demonstrations, vendors and a world championship BBQ contest! The event takes place at Ulster County Fairgrounds in New Paltz NY, the former home of the Hudson Valley Ribfest for 15 years. More than 5,000 attendees and 80 competitive BBQ teams from across the globe are expected.
2025 Ulster County Fair
Last year's Homemade Maple Syrup Making Contest was a huge success! Held in partnership with family-owned and operated Justus Asthalter Maple Syrup, Inc., we hosted the contest at the Ulster County Fair!
