Looking for something a little out of the ordinary? Using elk as the protein in these sweet and savory tacos creates a truly unique flavor thanks to the heat from Corey's Infused Habanero Chipotle Maple Syrup.
1 lb ground elk
8 hard taco shells
1-2 jalapeños, sliced
1/2 onion, diced
1 teaspoon of minced garlic
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded lettuce
salt and pepper to taste
Brown ground elk in sauté pan with garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and half of the infused maple syrup.
Once done, add elk, jalapenos, cheddar cheese and lettuce to taco shells.
Top with remaining maple syrup and enjoy!
