If you're looking for a delicious sweet and savory taco, look no further! Filled with chicken strips drizzled in Corey's Infused Chipotle Pepper maple syrup folded in waffles for sweet heat, this take on a Tex-Mex favorite will have you craving more!
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut lengthwise into 16 strips
1 package SHAKE 'N BAKE Extra Crispy Seasoned Coating Mix
8 round frozen waffles, thawed
2 tablespoon Corey's Maple BBQ Sauce
1 green onion, thinly sliced
Heat oven to 400ºF.
Coat chicken with coating mix as directed on package; place on baking sheet. Bake 12 to 15 min. or until done.
Meanwhile, spray both sides of waffles with cooking spray. Place on separate baking sheet. Add to oven to bake with chicken for the last 8 minutes.
Mix syrup and barbecue sauce until blended.
Place chicken strips on top of waffle; top with syrup mixture and green onions.
